MyAestic is an e-commerce application for professional medical services including aesthetic and cosmetic procedures. MyAestic promotes safe and professional medical procedures conducted in Malaysia at competitive prices.

MyAestic is the only e-commerce application for professional medical services (as opposed to other websites with only directory services or discussion forums). With MyAestic, Clients can easily and safely search, compare and purchase professional medical services with competitive pricing. Clients can then provide reviews and ratings on procedures that they have experienced. With MyAestic, Clients can expect excellent medical professional standards in the practice of aesthetic and other medical health procedures.

MyAestic endeavors that all Doctors listed with are qualified medical professionals and registered with the Ministry of Health, Malaysia (‘MOH”) and enforces a vigorous verification procedure. Doctors may only practice at clinics registered with the MOH and as stated in their respective Annual Practicing Certificates which in turn must be publicly displayed within the clinic.

Doctors cannot advertise or promote their services without prior approval from the Medicine Advertisement Board (“MAB”), as required by the Ministry Of Health, Malaysia.

The application and approval process can be technical, time consuming, frustrating and costly, especially if the Doctors want to market their services on digital platforms via their own website, social media, online video and other directory services.  Engaging digital marketing consultants and managing Client relationships will add further costs.

The MyAestic platform is approved by the Ministry of Health and complies with the requirements of the MAB. Doctors who join MyAestic will just complete a standard form with the payment of a one-time registration fee of RM300.00 to MAB directly.

Doctors can now offer their services on MyAestic with transparent pricing to attract more Clients (both local and international), maximize revenues and maintain their Clients’ records automatically. With MyAestic Doctors and Clients can enjoy a professional, secure, transparent and attractive platform for medical service transactions via the MyAestic website or smartphone applications 24/7 every day.

There are no registration, set up or procedure listing charges for Doctors or Clients. MyAestic charges Doctors 10% of the price for each procedure sold, exclusive of Sales and Services Tax. We get paid only if the Doctors are paid, after the relevant procedure has been performed.

Apart from serving Doctors and Clients in Malaysia, the MyAestic platform by design is excellent for promoting medical aesthetic and health tourism.  After launching in Malaysia in the first quarter of 2020, MyAestic intends to enter Indonesia in early 2021. MyAestic also plans to integrate related services in its ecosystem like bookings for accommodation, door to door travel arrangements, personalized concierge services and post procedure recovery care. We want to ensure an excellent experience for Clients and Doctors everywhere.

Medical tourism may mean Clients having to travel to a foreign country or a location away from their city to receive medical related treatments or procedures by reason of costs, expertise or availability. International Clients, with a combined population of almost 2 billion, from the Middle East, South East Asia, China, Korea and Japan are expected to benefit from using the MyAestic platform to access health care providers based in Malaysia and other host countries.

The listing of Doctors automatically rotates on a banner within MyAestic’s landing page but for a fee, Doctors can ensure that their listing appears first and with more frequency for a specified period. In addition, Doctors with top ratings and good reviews will also be featured on the MyAestic top listings.

Such additional procedures can, at the option of the Client, be bought via MyAestic. Clients can only review and rate procedures while both Doctors and Clients will only accumulate points for procedures bought via MyAestic.

Yes. Doctors can update the pricing and conduct promotions for their procedures on MyAestic that has not already been bought. Prices for procedures already sold cannot be changed.

After the successful sale of a procedure, MyAestic will notify both the Client and the relevant Doctor (or the authorized administrators of the Doctor).  The Doctor is expected to contact the Client within 24 hours. Communications can be via MyAestic’s dedicated chat box or via normal channels with the Doctor’s office.

No. Clients may be required to pay a refundable deposit for admission directly to the hospital or clinic. However, the admission deposit rates shall be stated with the price of the procedure. Clients can be assured of price transparency with no hidden costs for  procedures purchased via MyAestic.

Like most e-commerce platforms, Clients can pay via debit/credit cards or other e-wallet services via our secured payment gateways provided by senangPay or Billplz, both of which are approved by the Malaysian authorities.

Doctors will be paid via online transfer within 3 working days after confirmation by the relevant Doctor that the procedure has been completed. Doctors are encouraged to ensure that the Client reviews and rates the procedure performed (the Star rate & Pain scores) to ensure both parties accumulate points redeemable for future promotions and transactions.

If within 90 days from the date of purchase of the procedure the Client cancels or fails to make an appointment with and attend to the Doctor for the first consultation, 90% of the price of the relevant procedure shall be refunded automatically to the Client and the sale shall be deemed to have been canceled by the Client, with all parties having no further claims against the other. The said refund shall be made within 10 working days from the date of receipt of the client’s cancellation by MyAestic or the expiry date of the said 90 days period as the case may be.

If after consultation with the Client the attending Doctor informs MyAestic that the Client should not proceed with the relevant procedure, MyAestic shall refund the sale price less the 2% thereon already charged by the secured payment gateway providers AND the Doctor’s Consultation Fee in accordance with the 13th Schedule (Regulation 433) of the Fee Schedule to the Private Healthcare Facilities and Services Regulations 2006 (up to a maximum of not more than RM180 depending on the type of procedure), such refund to be made within 10 working days from the date of receipt of the Doctor’s notification by MyAestic.

Each Doctor’s registration with MyAestic must be verified and authenticated, this process will usually take 3 working days if all records and supporting documents are in order.

To set up an account for a Doctor, MyAestic will provide, without charge, consultation services, resources and personnel to list, copywrite information and render photos or videos specific to the Doctor or Hospital. As such, Doctors or Hospitals are required to list their services for a minimum of one year with MyAestic. 60 days’ prior written notice of withdrawal is required after the first year by email to info@myaestic.com.

Doctor’s may suggest additional procedure on top of the procedure you are purchasing at MyAestic. In case of that, you might need to add on procedure on our website
Example Situation: If you already purchased a Botox procedure, and the Doctor advise for additional filler procedure on top of the Botox procedure purchased.
